Rattle in AU II Ute seats

Hi,

I have had a rattle in my AU II ute seats for a while and it's starting to get a little persistent. I can remeber this thread but never paid much attention and the search engine isn't giving me much joy at this stage.

Was there an easy fix for this or do I have to sit with my hand permanently wedged against the side of the passenger seat.

Thumbs up rattle lol

You need a nice firm body in the passengers seat , that is sure to fix the problem , and leave your hand free to do other important things.

Same rattle was in my TS till i tryed this.

WOT ??? We having a rest day now are we ??
and what time was it on friday again ?

Yeah thanks.... :-)

The only issue is that one is not always available. BUt seriously is there a solution to these shithouse Ford seats other than replaceing them?

Over the past 2 years I have been constantly dissapointed with the build quality inside and out with my ute.

Anyway enough whingeing..how do I fix this?

What is it national smart arse day!

I have a genuine problem with the interior of my AU II XR8 ute, if you feel like you can contribute a solution then great! if not, remember that silence is golden.

If it is just vibrating against something, try some of that foam weather stripping (peel back sticky stuff on one side). About 1/2" wide, from the hardware shop. I use it to stop rattling windows in the ute.
