confused Rear seats, side (EF Falcon)

Hey,
I need to take out all the upholstered bits in the rear of the car.
I have taken out the seat backs, and base... but there are two small pieces left (between the seat and the door, one on each side).

The mechanism is probably identical to most cars of this period.
I need help for this please.

There is one size 10 screw at the bottom which I have removed, however i need to somehow remove the pin which the seat backs click into when changing from folded down to upright.
(hopefully someone can picture what I am describing) Assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Rear seats, side (EF Falcon)

easy when you know how :)

on the pin that holds the seat back , there should be a round plasic trim washer .
you need to remove this , might need a screw driver behind it to pop it off.

then you can just unscrew the pin bolt with a 5/8 open end spanner or a deep socket.

the padded section should then lift upwards and come out.
