I can't for the life of me work out how to detach the internal door lock buttons (flush mount ones) from the door trim on my NC Fairlane. There must be a trick to doing this, I have looked for a way but so far short of forcing them and probably breaking something I can't work it out.

Help much appreciated.

force is the only way.

in the factory owners manual it says to use a pair of pliers with something soft between the pliers and button to pull them off.

make sure you pliers have a good grip around the snipper button, and a quick pull up will get it off. (sounds sus)

If you are not already, wind down the window, and get it from a different angle
