Replacing EF/L lights switch

Question on behalf of a friend, his EL's light switch is pretty well dead, the plastic is all cracked and the wheel sometimes doesnt work. Mine is also not too crash hot looking, it works fine but if the installation of a new one is not too ahrd I'll give it a go.

So, how do you go about removing the old one and then installing a new one?

Re: Replacing EF/L lights switch

the knob and interior light disc are seperate items.. They fit onto a keyway held by a metal clip..The aligning section of the plastric knob cracks and the play means the knob just spins on the switch. I have never had a light switch fail and some of my Ef/EL's had 700 000kays on them

Get ring Ford and get a new knob
