Has anyone replaced the standard single cd stereo in a BA with an aftermarket model?

What did you have to do? Was there any cutting involved?

I'm happy with the sound and all but i want to be able to play mp3 format cds and the standard stereo doesn't like them.

What brands would people recommend for a replacement stereo? I won't be installing it myself so i mihgt consider a stacker, depends on $$.
