Last weekend i endevored out to look at bucket seats. I sat in solutions from jamex, recaro and the rest of them and was some what dishearted. apart from the cost (without rails) i would like to have something that follows the rest of the interior of the car. at the moment i drive an eb2 fairmont and the seats provide little support (esspecialy when going for a thrast around the local mountain). Can any one suggest any alternatives??

I would like to incorporate the original colour and continuity (between the rest of the interior) of the seats to the best i can.

I had thought about a custom interior. How much would that cost?

i saw a whole ED XR6 interior in the trading post for $500 ages ago - all XRs come with buckets in front as standard, get an XR interior, the ED trim is better colours than EB

A good trimmer should be able to rebolster the seat sides to give you a little bit more support, you could do the rear seat to give you basically two seating positions, you should then be able to reuse the centre material and retrim the seat sides in a darker shade (say two tone grey) always does look good.

I would imagine if your seats are in good nick and you can reuse some of the material you'd probably spend around the 800 - 1000 dollar mark. Shop around!
