I have noticed that my roof carpet is starting to drop, any1 else had this problem ?

yes, my eb is doing it and now the wifes 95 corolla is too.

Thought it had something to do with my hair falling out actually.

But seems to be heat related. moisture gets into the soft foaming part and destroys it.

Have been told that any auto upholsterer can fix it, havn't looked at prices yet.

yeah i spoke to some bloke and he said ya gotta take it all down and replace the sticky stuff up there. Looks like a hell of a job

Just get a new one from a wrecker and throw that in, takes an hour or two by yourself. Shouldn't cost you more than $50-60.

Buy some fabric you think will suit and a can of spray on adhesive form your local spotlight or equivalent craft store and do yourself up a custom job. Probly the best $18 i have spent on my car appearance wise. ($11 of that cost being the spray on adhesive) couldnt be happier with it.
