Shifter in 1988s?
In the 88 Rangers did they have different style shifters for two wheel and four wheel drive models? Cuz my two wheel drive 88 had a straight shaft shifter, then my sister crashed it. Truck ****ed.... Now im shopping for a new one and in the four wheel drive models im seeing a kinda curvy more 60s style shifter. Is this right for the year, or is it just an older truck? Or is that just the way those 4x4s were built? If I buy it im going to put a straight one in Regardless.
