Smartlock Light problem
Hi guys,
I have an AU2 XR8 and it has suddenly developed the following problem. When the car is off and key out of the ignition, the smartlock light is on on the dash. I put the key into the ignition and turn the ignition on and the light does the normal thing and stays on for a second before going out. If I then start the car, the light flashes in time with the car. If I rev it up, the flashes increase in speed and vice versa. It is very annoying so if anyone has any ideas it would be much appreciated before I ring Ford service. For the record I have pulled the battery in hope but it has made no difference. Any help would be fantastic. Thanks.
