I am putting a Pioneer stereo into my 94' Escort and need to know what type of splices I should use when I go to splice my adaptor to the Pioneer's wires.

mate, you can either use crimp style connectors, or strip about 10mm off the end of both wires, twist them together and solder em and then cover the join up with some good quality electrical tape... should work just fine, just make sure that u match the right wires from the adaptor to the deck otherwise you could do some serious damage.
