A question for those guys with an XF (preferbly S pack) and sports steering wheel. Can you position the steering wheel to still be able to see the tacho and most importantly the speedo?
Im after a woodgrain looking SAAS and they look very small compared to the fairest wheel size they come with as standard. I just want to know if you can see everything without looking over and under the top of the wheel.
I got a digi dash, and i sit low, i cant really see parts of the guages, gotta move a little, but thats the pirce that you are gonna need to pay for a sports s/wheel
on my XE Ghia, i cant see the top guages, oil press and fuel, and tops of the taco and speedo...
im using an autotechnia s/wheel, just on the legal size
330mm is lthe legal diameter, my Boss Viper on my EA is just within it, they also have to be crash-tested and a certificate supplied to be used on a road-going vehicle, hence Isotta and Momo are the only ones that can really be used to be legal.
Basically, as long as you don't get caught, its not illegal!

If they had black box recorders in Commodores, the final words would be "watch this bro!"
I bought an autotechnica a few years back for an XF Ghia of mine, it has a flat spot at the bottom. I had it adjusted all the way down, couldn't really see the speedo withouth moving, but the lower the wheel, the cooler the drive. I wanted a smaller wheel to make it easier to get into the car, and the small wheel with a flatspot helped a lot. Putting it up higher makes you feel like you're driving miss daisy, well, in that car it did.
