I have just bought a Pioneer deck for my car, to replace the annoying original tape deck that doesnt work due to the ERR flashing on the screen.

I assumed someone I knew could fit it...but I do not have a manual for the car, nor does any shops like Autobarn.

Can anybody help me out with any information on where to get a manual OR, even better, how to install the stupid stereo?!

black is you earth, re & yellow are you power wires, with the remaining ones for speaker - left/right & front/back. try find out which is which for the speakers, so it sounds right when you get it done! maybe a good idea to disconnect the battery as well when doing it, to ensure you dont stuff anything up (not that i've even done anything like that... )

go to repco ,super cheap ,auto barn or JB hifi and get your self an adaptor kit from AERPRO the do wiring plugs that fit your radio and the ISO sockets i have just done the same thing with our NC Fairlane with a Kenwood unit and it made the job a snap hope its been some help.

wiring up head unit is easy. black is the earth wire, red is the ignition wire, fat yellow one is your main power. after you wire them up hook the battery back up and use the fade options on the head unit so fade to front and to the left so its only putting out sound for one speaker. then just trial and error hooking up to the speaker wires and seeing what speaker its going to. for the speaker wires they are the same colour for each speaker with one wire with a black line in it to show that its the negative. easy. or you could just run new speaker if you want.

Front Left : +ve = Orange/lt green
Front Left : -ve = Orange/Black

Front Right : +ve = Grey/Green
Front Right : -ve = Grey/Black

Rear Left : +ve = Pink/Green
Rear Left : -ve = Pink/Black

Rear Right : +ve = Blue/Red
Rear Right : -ve = Blue/Black
