Taurus battery goes dead with remote
Is this Possible, my mother has a 2002 Taurus, She has a remote door unlock, trunk open, horn honking remote. Three times last spring the battery would be mysteriously dead. Tried disconnecting the trunk light cause I found the trunk unlatched one of the times. Anyway happened like three times. Then she lost the keys that had the remote on for three months, no dead battery. So last week she finds the key/remote, it had been outside so we took it out and tried it one the car, everything worked. Low and behold the next morning the battery was dead again. Is this possible that the remote is opening some circuit that is staying open and draining the battery? Has been three days since recharge and she hasn't touched the remote and it has been fine.
Possible or just and old lady forgeting to turn something off.
