How do you tint the tail lights and what do you use to do it???

If you're in NSW don't do it cos it's illegal, and it's a sure way to get a defect sticker.

Remove tail lights. Remove defuser. (the coloured bit), spay tint on the inside. re-assemble.

I is illegal in some places. I tinted the tail lights (except the reverse) in my old ZK Fairlane. Not a problem. Even sold it and the guy got a road worth with them on, they are still on the car.

I can post pic if anyone likes.

If you feel you dont want to be hassles. paint the outside and keep a couple of rags and metho in the boot, for when the cops pull you over. But it can be scratched off.

is it just me, or are home made light tint jobs a turn off on anything other than a black show car?
