Hi all Im craig and a new member, Just purchased a EA 3.9L MP injection with a 4 speed auto. I must say I love it, its so much better than all my X series cars that Ive had and they are so cheap now days.

anyway my question is:- I would like to install a trip computer in my car, apart from going down to the wreckers and pulling one out of a dash Im wondering what else will be needed for it to work on my car. I assume that behind the panel where it normally is installed the conector for it is already there but is there any sensors or other parts I also need to purchase and install?

Im keen to keep an eye on my fuel consumption. Ive only done one county trip but for 144kms and useing the fill to the first click before and after method it used 10.2L is that Ok or is it something I should be following up on
