Trip Computer Woes - Ford Forums - Mustang Forum, Ford Trucks, Ford Focus and Ford Cars

Hey,

I am trying to put a trip computer into my EFII Falcon GLi. I have taken the three wires required from the instrument cluster.

Pin 3 on the Trip computer connector should be (Yellow/Black) - Battery Positive Power. I take this to mean permanent live. But there is no current on this line. This wire for some reason is dead. What i need to know is, is this line supposed to be permanent live. If so i will just grab the perm live wire from the radio.

Fixed the problem with the permenant live. It was a blown fuse. but i think that the trip pc module is stuffed.
