i have just acquired an xh ute and was wondering if anyone knew if it is possible to fit a trip computer from an ed or ef. It has the eec IV computer.

Unfortunately the answer is no as there is nowhere to put it. XH dashes are basically just updated version of XF dashes, and to fit a trip computer you need to have an EF-L sedan style dash.

Anything can be done if you try, you may be able to put it in the Silver plate near teh steering wheel.
But it would be a big job to set it up.

Aside form the mounting problems it should be relatively easy. If it's like the XF Ghia trip computers, it will require a) power b) input from the speed sensor c) input from injector pulses.
