Underlining for carpet - any suggestions ??

Anyone out there got any suggestions as to what to line the floor of my coupe with, something to keep noise and heat down ??

You can buy heavy duty sound deadner as used for comp audio installs, will keep heat and noise out, but will lighten your wallet a fair bit as well.

I have installed felt with bitumen barrier underlay prior to installing new carpets.... It actually does make a hell of alot of difference

Try domestic rubber underlay, people throw this stuff out when they get their carpet replaced. I works as a great sound deadener and helps soften the heat, it's good because it's free. :)
