Unknown Plug behind trip comp panel

In my NC Fairlane...

opened up the panel with the trip computer and found the plugs for the trip computer, rear demist switch and thermometer (guess).

Theres also another plug coming from the same bunch of wires that i have nfi what is for.
It has five wires in it as follows:

Brown with blue dots
Green with white stripe
Blue with red stripe
Grey with black stripe
and Black

Yeah sounds like the one for the rear wiper. Mine has that there too.

You'd be suprised how many plugs there are in the car that are sitting there doing nothing.

What year? Series 2 etc had a few more switch's your could press, and I believe in a lot of cases companies would build the first series to have all the features, but they don't install the switch (save's in product cost and then they could market a new an improved version). Now I could be talking a load of rubbish.

Two I know of in the NC is the Sun roof switch and lock switch (next to the aerial switch).

Its a 92 NC, made in january.

had a look behind the aerial switch panel and cant see a second connector for anything, but on the other side where the boot switch and fuel filler door switch are there is a third connector.

The wires appear to be for the wash/wipe switch. this is next to the heated back light switch.

Above the fuses -> the spares would be for the fuel door release, luggage compartment lock (wagon) or deck lid release.

Above the hand brake -> smartlock (not in 92 though), elect antanna, pwr/econ switch (column auto)

I've had a look at the wiring diag's, and there is a Green/White wire and a Grey\Blue going between the Rear Wiper ECU (Wagon) and the Rear Wiper Switch(Wagon).

A Blue\Red wire for the contol button lights.

Not sure if that will help.
