Well, the EL didnt last long till the 10mm socket and power drill got cranking. Not as extreme as the EAFL, just a small upgrade. I found a set of EL Ghia Caupichino full leather trims and seats.
One small problem, the drivers trim is screwed! The top bit (leather arm pad and wood grain is ok, but the map pocket is ok. Now, i have 2 choices.
1) Put the woodgrain + leather arm pad onto my Fairmont Velour trims to make a hybrid. (drawback, i cant sell my set of fairmont trims, and one trim will have velour background other 3 will be vynal, or i can make 4 hybrid trims)
2) Get a Futura Caupichino front door trim and put the ghia stuff on it. (drawback, i doubt may EL futuras came with caupichino interior)
the 1st option would be ncier, as the fairmont trim is actualy nicer, being 90% velour rather than pov vinyl with a small dash of leather, and they hybrid would make the nicest EL trim possable (if only i had an LTD arm pad to go with it.)
Ideas to fix this problem. Cheers

its all goin smooth, apart from the inside door handels. The ones from this wreck were pinched and as such they gave me grey chrome handels. ARGHHHH. Is there an easy way to remove the chrome handel from the surround and put it onto my caupa surround? CHeers
