Warning Lights on Dash don't seem to work..

What warning lights should you see on startup in an EA Fairmont? The only lights I see is the park brake light, and the battery light.

I'm pretty sure there is more lights that should be on, on startup, and if so how do I change these globes because it can't be a fuse because the park brake and battery lights work.

Ne help would be great, thanks!

Dave

You should get at least a charge and oil pressure light...
I know on my ghia dash, i have charge, oil, high temp, low coolant - all come on with ign and go out when the engine starts...

lights

no guarantee they are all on the same fuse, check your fuses. if the charge light isint goin your alternator probably is either cos it needs the little light to get it started.

Further to this, what lights should come up at startup on the S Pak? I only get Battery, Park Brake and Brake Fail, should I have more lights coming on?

Dude the only 2 lights you should be getting on any EA car on startup is the battery light and park brake(assuming it's on) and these should go away after the cars started.

If your getting a brake fail light you got some major ass problems you better get fixed otherwise one day you'll hit the brakes and your car won't stop. Definately a bad sign.

Warning Lights

For the fairmont and s pack dashes you should get the park brake, battery and brake fail lights coming on when the key is on the start position.
