confused were in the ford is my heater core?

I bought the book for my 84 ford LTD station wagon, the only thing is it doesn't show a illustration of were my heater core is. I took off the two instrument panels and under that is black covers and the book states todisconnect the vacuum supply hose and the blower motor electrical connector, but without a diagram I don't know were these would be located. If anyone has illustration or any advice please help!!!!!! THANK YOU MUCH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Follow the heater hoses from the engine. They will go directly to the core. Might have to remove the dash partially to change it.
