Ive taken these pics of my mums EL Fairmont, and with my dash conversion i have a conector for this, but no box. What the hell is it?

the only thing i found on my box like that is this part # if someone can tell u what it means:

94DA-9C734-AE and says made in mexico haha

umm looking through my EL manual, is it the wiper motor wiring? sorry, this book isnt very specific, ill keep looking.

nah its not wiper motor i dont think

ohhhhhhh, it could be the variable wiper motor and power steering thingie, as the futura/XR/fairmonts etc have variable road sensitive wipers+steering

could it be the cruise control module. has your mum's car got cruise control? Im pretty sure on my mum's EL GLi it has the connector, but not the box. I'd check, but shes out atm. i suspect you can just leave it unplugged.

I've just found it in the book, it IS the cruise control module. guess you dont need it :)

well actually you do need it, ive just seen the pictures of the steering wheel with the cruise buttons. guess you're up for the cruise module, or take the buttons off i guess.
