confused Wiring a fuel cutoff switch

Hi all,

I am currently converting my XF to EFI. As I am wiring up an electric fuel pump, I thought it would be a good idea to include a fuel cutoff switch for security.
I am going to have a microswitch in the cabin and use a relay.
As far as I know the wiring for the relay will be;

30 = Power from fuel pump relay
85 = Earth
86 = Power from switch
87 = Power to fuel pump

Is this correct?.
Where does the Earth wire from the switch go?.

Thanks

Re: Wiring a fuel cutoff switch

Is that diagram for a switched earth, instead of switched power?

JC, I think you're right. It looks like it is the Earth that gets broken through the switch.
My head hurts.

Re: Wiring a fuel cutoff switch

Yeah, its a switched earth setup,
fairly easy to implement, because you only need a single wire from the relay to the switch, and then ground the other pin of the switch whereever you like.

You would want to make sure the relay is hidden quite well though.
