Hi, just purchased a 96 EL fairmont ghia and the car is in great condition all round but like all ford leather, the seats are cracked and worn in places as is the gear selector. What is the best way to fix this up?
Afraid you'll need to get them redone... this kind of wear and tear can't be repaired. A good upholsterer may be able to colour match the leather if the wear and tear isn't too bad. Often though this can't be done and you'll need to get the uppers replaced.
