Has anyone out there replaced their seats with seats from a later model such as an EB EF. Was it as simple as fitting the old rails to the new seats or do you hace to get a set of rails from an XG ute to fit the later model seats. Any help would be greatly appeciated

XG seat rails are the same as EA/EB so dont think that will help

this really won't help, but I put a pair of new aftermarket sports seats in, which bolted straight in.

why are you wanting to change your seats? the mechanism busted on my drivers seat, and it was gonna cost upward of $500 per seat to have them re-upholstered and fixed, hence new seats!

Thanks for the reply as I hope you can see I ended up getting the seats recovered and I had the seat mount points welded drilled then fitted high tensile bolts I don't think they will break again. I had the seats done because the drivers seat lost all of its support and my back was killing me on long drives and I am moving to cairns from Sydney soon
