Some useless piece of s___ just broke into my trusty XE work car and tried to saw through the steering wheel to get the lock off. Fortunatley he/she did not get very far as the car is also immobilised but I now need a new wheel!!!!

I am told the nicer wheels that appeared in the ED Series will also fit. Can anyone confirm its true as someone else has said it only from the late madel utes and vans???

Yup, it fits, but the indicator return won't work.

So, to remedy this, just use the boss from your current wheel, and screw it into the plastic on the back of the ED wheel.

yep they fit - the ute ones dont though, they have a square column where as the sedan has a round spline

you may also need to bend the indicator and wiper stalks as the E series s/wheels have less offset than the X series
