Ok... I recently put an XF S pack dash into my falcon gli. Everything is working i even hooked up my aftermarket driving lights to it!!!... I came accross a problem!!!

My fuel gauge keeps saying my tank is empty!!!! even after i have filled up?

I have changed the fuel sender. (and still not working!) ne ideas?

the actual fuel gauge might be dead, you should be able to pull your other one out and swap it over.

I used to have a XF Ghia (until those low life scum sucking pigs stole it). With a similar problem, only the gauge would read full all the time. It turned out the sensors are easily upset by moisture.
2 things to check for. 1 is it the right sensor, I think the eletrioncic dash used a different sensor. 2. Try putting 2 litres of Metho (don't drink it) into your fuel tank, it absorbs any mositure.

A system that was designed to be used on aircraft where the fuel quality is a lot better than what we get from our local petrol station where tanks can be forty even fifty years old. The short answer is they don’t like contaminated fuel.
