Has anyone tried to fit an instrument cluster out of an XF Fairmont Ghia into an XF Falcon GL/S. The connectors look to be the same.

I can't beleive nobody has tried to fit a Ghia instrument cluster into a GL or S falcon before. Am I really a pioneer boldly setting foot into an unknown wilderness?

Ive fitted a digital cluster into my XF S...works perfectly, diddnt have to modify any wiring, and the mounting points exactly the same!

at the mo i have gutted my XF S pack ute and wanna make it look updated. what can i fit in and what cant i. been told i can fit in an XG dash. if i can, how diffrent are they.

Significantly different but not impossible like the EF/EL. You will have to get hold of an XG wiring loom or just the instrument connectors and make an adaptor.
