very difficult but can be done, purchased an xf ute which previous owner had transferred dash to xe and also front end, recently swithed back to xf dash which is very similar to xg however all plugs from firewall are different, required a lot of time, a wiring diagram, some trial and error and many swear words, would not attempt if not confident.
