hi does any one know what these electrical parts are?
(In the photo on top of the battery)
My car is a xa fairmont but im putting in a zg harness has any one done this before and had any problems?

things ive aready noticed is the steering plug doesnt match up and the zg indicators have plug attachments were as the xa indicators run straight of the harness.

the right one is a relay thingy, where the relay goes onto... i dunno hte left one.. any more picutrs of it? looks like a fuse holder.. where are they from? i might look at dads zh tomorrow

The one on the left is a Circuit Breaker (like a resettable Fuse) and the item on the right is a relay socket.

If the ZG wiring is unmodified then that will be the power feed to the electric windows and rear glass demister. The LH wire on the LH unit should be Black with a White stripe. The relay socket will connect to the battery, chassis, the cct breaker and accessories power circuit.

If your XA does not have electric windows or rear screen demister then this wiring is not required.
