I am needing the frame to motor mount brackets to fit 75-79 Ford f150, f250, f350 2 wheel drive with a 460 engine. I realize that there are aftermarket brackets out but, I am wanting the real thing from Ford if possible. I'm not looking for the motor mounts but the actual brackets in between the motor mount and frame.
LMC only has the motor mounts but not the brackets. They do have the aftermarket ones but they are $50 more than what I can get them elsewhere. I have read in some of the other forum posts that once you put power to the aftermarket ones they can shear off or pull apart. Several posts also mention the brackets pulling out of the frame. I am sure this can also be a problem with the originals but they just "look" to me to be much stronger. When I look at the aftermarket ones I just don't see the strength in them compared to the originals.
Sorry about that, I was looking at the wrong pic. Didn't see anything in any other site either. I can tell you that it's probably going to be the same bracket from 57-96 if that helps.
