Granada tranny problem - Ford Forums

HI,
In my ignorance of trying to locate a tranny drain plug(there isn't one), turned back what looked like a plug on the drivers side,turned it out around an inch and a quarter.At that time I realized it could not be a plug.I turned it back in to where I thought it was when I started.At that point I no longer have a reverse and even worse I cant even push the car backwards in nuetral.Please help !!

What gearbox is this? It does sound like either something's now out of place or dropped off altogether. A lesson for us all, there.
