Over at BON they have some pics and info on the 2002 GT40.

Looks very similar to the original.

A few specs,

Engine: 5.4L, DOHC 32-valve, supercharged and intercooled MOD V8 aluminum block and heads

Horsepower: 500 @ 5250 rpm

Torque: 500 lb-ft @ 3250

whack that engine into an AV GTHO. :s5 :s6:

The GT40 really has to be one of the greatest supercars ever I know someone with a very good replica & even though it isn't the real deal it is an awesome car

I saw a replica of an original GT40 at a small car show in Brisbane recently, and geez these things are low!!
A truely legendary car.

Hmm 5.4 DOHC V8... Sounds like the t-series engine... Except supercharged.

AV t series will be pretty sweet brakes off a Austin Martin, engine from the GT40 concept (minus supercharger)...
