'Jigsaw' GT40 Up For Grabs
Wednesday 19th March 2003
AutoExpress
It's got no miles on the clock and is arguably the rarest Ford GT40 ever to come up for sale. But then, there's also no interior, no wiring loom and the engine and gearbox are sitting on a bench beside it.
But these minor drawbacks will not put off buyers when this very special GT40 is entered for auction at Christie's in London next week. That's because the car is now the only original example to be sold as new, thanks to specialist P&M Racing Preparations in Chiswick, which has kept the last remaining un-used chassis under wraps since 1972. All that any would-be buyer needs to do is finish the build. Despite the incomplete state, the car is still expected to fetch between £170,000 and £200,000.

My first car was a 67 Mustang Coupe, 2nd one was a 67 Cougar XR-7, 3rd one was a 66 Mustang Coupe. Why did I get rid of these cars for ? I know why, because I'm stupid, stupid, stupid.
My next Ford.....
