Saw this car at Columbus Ohio last year- dunno if it was an original or not, but definitely not a cheap kitcar...427, bundle of snakes exhaust, ZF transaxle, riveted aluminum chassis, true knockoff wheels...probably the coolest car I had ever seen, and mind you, it was surrounded by hundreds of beautiful 427 cobra replicas- and the guy had driven it about 1000 miles from Alabama! would have been one beautifully noisy trip...

Sounds good, only comment is I'd be surprised if an original GT40 was wearing 17 & 18" wheels but you never know. Either way what a fantastic car!

there are many replicas out there now. a lot of good replicas/kits for the gt40. I somehow think that this is a kit/replica and not the real thing.

Either way Lunatics, they are great. If only I could have a replica! (I'm too scared to deam about owning a real one)
