What are the cam specs for the Ford GT? VS FR500 specs VS Smog Legalities

Hello everyone;

First post :)

I wanted to know the complete list of specs for the Ford GT cams and the FR500 cams. I know the intake lift on both but as far as duration and LSA and all those goodies I have no clue. I also need to be able to pass California smog.

I also wanted to know if I can use the GT cams in a NA car.

I have a 5.3L stroker with fully ported Mach1 heads and I am trying to break 500rwhp. Everything I have says that I can do it, now I just need the cams to get me there.

If somone could display both cam specs and then give me an idea at which one would be the best for an NA setup I would appreciate it. Also, I already have the High lift kit and I have 1mm oversize valves. My CR ratio is 11.5:1 and I am running a TKO-600 with 4.56 gears.

Also I see that Comp Cams has a very agressive set of cams (According to their description.) Here are the specs of the Comp cams, out of these 3 which do you think would be best for a Road race car thats still needs to be smogged to be street legal?

Mechanical roller follower

Basic Operating RPM Range: 2,200-6,500 RPM

Intake Duration at 050 inch Lift: 242

Exhaust Duration at 050 inch Lift: 240

Duration at 050 inch Lift: 242 int./240 exh.

Advertised Intake Duration: 277

Advertised Exhaust Duration: 275

Advertised Duration: 277 int./275 exh.

Intake Valve Lift with Factory Rocker Arm Ratio: 0.475

Exhaust Valve Lift with Factory Rocker Arm Ratio: 0.450

Valve Lift with Factory Rocker Arm Ratio: 0.475 int./0.450 exh. lift

Lobe Separation (degrees): 114

Grind Number: XE278AH-114
