I have a 1970 MK1 Ford Capri.
It is currently a rolling shell. Ready for paint and rebuild.
The shell is originally a 4Cyl Shell, but had been converted to full GT V6 Specs and was registered as a V6, so qualifies for 6 cyl regulation regarding upgrades.
Modifications:
Hadfield Chassis kit, rated to 1000HP.
Shortened Hilux diff. Drum brakes completely rebuilt, shoes, cylinders, drums faced, .......
Has a 4.1 open centre.
Rearsuspension has been moved inboard to allow for bigger tyres and is mounted on custom spring mounts. Rear quarters have been cut for mini tubs. No modification done to factory chassis rails. Boot floor has been cut out for mounting of fuel cell. Does not have a fuel cell in it.
Front rotors converted to leyland p76 slotted rotors ( part of hadfield kit ) and has brackets to put HQ / WB callipers.
Cross member currently setup for Lexus 4.0L quad cam V8 (1UZFE) but 10 mins with grinder and welder will have the supplied windsor mounts in place.
The car comes with no engine or gearbox.
The shell is completely rust free, and comes with a full set of un-chipped glass.
There are no front seats, but i do have the rear seats, most interior panels, dash, chrome window trims. The front quarters are missing, as they were beyond repair.
There is no drivers door mounted, but i do have one that has minor cosmetic work to be done to it.
I have a set of peders lowered springs for the front also, they ar enot currently fitted.
At the right price i can also supply a set of OBX reclining race seats that are brand new.
have containers of bolts and parts, lights, looms, door handles, and heaps more that will come with the car.
It is sitting in 14 and 15" falcon rims.
There is probably more to tell about this car, but thats what i can remember at this stage.
I have way too many photos of this car during its build phase, so if your interested, let me know and i can send some thru to your email.
I am after $5000 for this car.
I was hoping to finish it myself, but with bub number 5 on the way, some of the toys have to go.
email me at
adam@ffactor.com.au with any interest.
Cheers.
