250kw Tickford crank, Rods, pistons,rings NEW! - Ford Forums

I Have just spoken in person to the company that Makes the 250kw Tickford stroker rods as used in the TE series.
They pulled a set out of the box for me to inspect, VERY NICE!
The reason Tickford alocated this company to make the 250kw stroker rods is because they came up with the least amount of tolerances in there machining (world wide!) wich says alot for the company.
As for the cranks to suit, they are made in Victoria.
They manager told me that if there is 5 or more interested in purchasing these items, he will put together a realy cool deal for us, wich would include the crank (NEW as used in the TE series) the Rods (NEW as used in the TE series) and pistons and rings to suit!
I managed to get a quote on just the rods $1700.00
That quote will drop upon the more orders the less it will be.
The company that makes the 250kw stroker rods for Tickford (FPV)is called ARGO engineering located near Newcastle NSW
So you will be getting Very high Quality gear, exactly as used in the TE series 250kw engines.
Not sure what the figure will be for the crank rods and pistons, but he told me if you get 5 or more interested let him know and he will look after us.

What else needs to be done to the motor once you do this? I have heard that Tickford had all sorts of trouble getting the intake right etc.

I'm interested (always interested in more power!), but could not commit to a firm order at this stage - maybe in 12 months or so.

thats dear for rods i bought a set of rods off argo for 1300 for a windsor about 6 mths ago the pistons and rings are acl race series

are they the stroker rods as used in the pursuit and 250kw specails? INJECTED engnes?
