FS: Some 6 cylinder performance parts.

I am getting a V8 installed in the next week so i no longer need my 6 cylinder parts.

I will have Headers to suit an alloy head (carby) About 1 yr old. EGR pipe is blocked off on them. Not sure what brand. They are a greyish blue colour. Paid $300 sell for $100 ONO

Come racing Head. Stage 3 streetmaster. Specs here www.comeracing.com Under products-cylinder heads.
Paid $1150 make an offer. bought in February. Flows 300HP
A valve may be damaged but i wont know for sure until i take it off which will be on the weekend.

Come racing cam CLH-191 Specs under Cams - streetmaster street performance camshafts. in the link above.
Paid $300 ish will sell for $150 ONO

Redline 4 barrel manifold to suit a crossflow alloy head, paid $150 off ebay in brand new condition. Make an offer.

Holley 465 is not for sale yet but might be when the new engine is in. Just spent $180 on a reco 2 weeks ago, hasnt been used since. I bought it as a factory remanufactured unit in February, paid $350.
I would like to get back the money to recondition the unit. So $180 for that if it becomes available. I have receipts for the reco.

If your interested leave a reply.
Items wont be available until next week.
Thanks guys.
Dan

Re: FS: Some 6 cylinder performance parts.

Make an offer!
.
I imagine your offer would depend on the condition of the head.
Say $480 for everything except the head. The head would be extra depending on its condition. If its damaged only a valve would need replacing.

Ruger. The EFI system wont like the cam very much and I dont think the extractors are the same.

Cheers guys.

The engine should be out by friday so ill let you know about the head.

If you buy the whole lot ill throw in the dizzy as well. This needed to be regraphed to suit and rebuilt in feb cost me $230.

I also have the gear to convert to a 4 speed manual if you want it.
Make an offer on that, I dont know what its worth.

Re: FS: Some 6 cylinder performance parts.

ok, im in the process of deciding if I keep the car and drive it into the ground, or sell it off over summer... I think i will keep it ATM

so definetly some interest in all of your gear - price so far doesnt sound too bad, so it depends on the condition of the head and $$$ ya want for it :)

cheers

Re: FS: Some 6 cylinder performance parts.

Yeah i wont ask for much for the head probs around the $200 mark seeing as you will take the whole lot. So your getting off pretty cheap and will be able to smoke 6 cyl VT's and such.

Ill let you know how the head is when it comes out.
Thanks
Dan

Re: FS: Some 6 cylinder performance parts.

a few other things...
not sure if I would be rebuilding my current engine (bottom end) when I put the stuff in, do you know if/ how much the alloy head would change the compression ratio (mine is a iron head engine)... ?

the cam and head should be ok running on gas ?
(current gas setup bolts onto holley 350, so it should bolt right up to your holley right ?)

Also your in melbourne right ?

Re: FS: Some 6 cylinder performance parts.

Are the iron head and alloy a straight swap?
Not sure on compression but I was running stock bottom end and they said i would benefit from flat top pistons for a higer ratio.
They should be okay running on gas. The holley 350 is only a 2 barrel. My carb and manifold are 4 barrel but i think you can just get an adapter, Im not really sure how the gas setup looks/works.
I am in bayswater in the SE suburbs of melbourne.

Re: FS: Some 6 cylinder performance parts.

im 95 % sure they are a striaght swap, not 100% sure so I will check it out :)
yeah the gas will fit now that I think about it,the 'top' (where you bolt the air cleaner etc on) is the same diameter on the 2bbl and 4 bbls carbs. the gas can flow 300 HP so it should have it more than covered :D
