Read WANTED - lowered ED Springs

I am looking for a set of lowered springs for an ED 6 cylinder Falcon that anyone wants to get rid of. I don't really want springs that will lower the car completely to the bumpstops/ground, preferably lowered 1-2 inches, mostly for both practicality and insurance sake.

I'm happy to drive anywhere from Newcastle to Melbourne... cheers

yeah zant ive got some rears... depending on how low you want to go... you know how low my car was its not that low it will drop the ed about the same amount as your car. .... they are out of an XF ... but they fit fine in a ed. i had them in my car for about 6 months. i will ask my bro if he wants to sell. but i do have 2 almost new rear monroe GTS shocks. they were in the car for about 8 months and are still like new.

you have my email so if ya interested send me a email.

EB2Ghia- You say the rear springs from an XF will suit an ED. Does this mean that the rear springs for an ED will suit an XF?? What about the front springs for an ED will they fit the XF too??

Thanks
Dan

The last time this was discussed, it was concluded that XF and EA-ED use different front springs. The EA introduced a totally new front suspension.

I just took a full set of lowered springs out of my EA. They were to low for me, looked great but hit some speed bumps. I put Kings super lows in and it brought it up about 25 mm. Probably to low for you but if anyone is interested I'd sell the lot for $100.
Cheers
Ross

I emailed the king spring company about the springs issue and i cant use my ED springs in my XF cos the parts are different.
The 'superlow' king springs for an XF are the equivelant of just the 'low' springs for the ED. There is no lower spring for the XF that they develop.
This means that if i put the 'superlow' springs from the ED in then the replacement front springs will sit the front higher than the back :(

Oh well
Dan

i had that problem. my bro had a set of superlows for an xf sitting there so i chucked em in to find that in the eb they were just low. i put up with the back being higher than the front for about 4 months till i got pissed off with it and bought some koni adjustables and some proper spings.
