Anyone hee care to take a guess on the future resale value of the territory? Say in about 3-4 years. My guess is that it will be very good similar or better than the toyots prados etc. (but then I'm biased). Does winning COTY have much influence on the resale value? Just want to get some opinions here.

Territory

In my personal opinion, COTY may assist with current sales but I would not expect it to make any difference to resale value 3-4 years from now. That will be driven by the used market demand for Territory in that timeframe. Given the vehicle's versatility, let's hope it hold's up its residual better than most. But there are so many factors that can influence this that anything anyone posts here is speculation (like mine ).

The payout on my new lease is about $17k in 3 years so lets hope its better than that!!!!

i would say definately higher than a Falcon, especially in AWD.... look at 4 wheel drive, SUV / utes and pickups (even in 2wd) resale on sedans is awful and station wagons is even worse i believe?

Supply and Demand will be key drivers as always so if Ford sells too many Terris then the supply will go up and resale down - as long as there's continued demand of course. Given that Fleet sales are a lower proportion of sales you won't get the market saturation of 3-yr old models just like with Falcons and Commodores so the amount of 2nd hand models around should be lower - so all things going well the resale should be higher than a Falcon
