Do you use the Business Card Holder in the console lid?

The owners manual says there is a business card holder. Do you use it and what are your thoughts.

Re: Do you use the Business Card Holder in the console lid?

We've covered this in previous threads. No, there isn't a holder in spite of what the manual says. And is it worth polling? Although some mightn't need it, it is something that should be in a car that serves the needs of all. For those of us for whom the car is also a mobile office, a penholder, business card holder, somewhere to put papers/laptop, somewhere to plug things in and displays for time and date are basic desirables.

Re: Do you use the Business Card Holder in the console lid?

I have a BA Fairmont, and mine has one, and I use it to hold my drivers licence. As it is the only car I own, and I often forget my wallet, I know it's always there in case I ever come across Mr Plod.

BTW The service department at my local ford still think there is a car holder
(but so far they cannot find it either).

Maybe Grahill can program his ICC again and find the card holder along with the clock. Let me guess-

Quote:
Ignition on to accessories
Push the RPT button twice within 5 seconds of turning the accessories switch on.
Then push and hold the MENU button for another 5 seconds
And I THINK then press the RDM button twice
and the card holder will miraculously appear - just like the clock.

The holder is like a money clip under the console lid. Will only hold about 5 cards I guess, but is handy for the licence.

If in doubt, be happy to show you a photo. It's not Rocket Science.....
