rocket Registered User Join Date: Jan 2001 Location: Oran Park, NSW, Australia Age: 46 Posts: 128	DSC/Traction Control Light Stays On!!! Hi Guys, I thought I would share this experience with you. I have noticed that the Cruise Control was very touchy (after setting I would sometimes slightly tap the side of the brake pedal when moving foot from accelerate, and it would cancel the CC), also, large bumps would cancel CC. I then had a couple of incidents of the DSC/Traction Control light coming on and staying on while driving (turning the ignition off would fix this). Then one day, I noticed that the brake lights would stay on (with me outside the car). I took it to the Ford dealer and said that the Cruise Control was very touchy. He said, very common, can you spare 60 seconds? He fixed it on the spot by loosening a bolt on or near the brake pedal!!! Cruise Control is now less sensitive (of my big foot and bumps) and no more DSC/TC lights. Just in case anybody else encounters this..... Regards Rocket
