The single note horn in my T was bugging me so I lashed out and bought a dual note horn for a Fairmont Ghia. Cost from Ford was $56.60.
Easy to fit, just remove the black plastic screw/nuts from the top of the grille and carefully pull the grille assembly straight up and out of the bumper cover.
You can then get access to the 8mm bolt securing the single horn and swap the units over.
Anyone want to buy a spare single note horn for a Territory/BA Falcon ?
One note vs Two. It's a personal preference thing - there's nothing wrong with the standard horn but a dual horn is quite a bit louder and more piercing. A few times I've hit the horn to alert someone I'm behind and there's been no reaction. Cant be sure it was the original horn but at least I've ruled that out as a potential cause now !
No idea if the horns for a BA/Territory are the same as for the AU but there's a good chance they are. THe horn itself will be compatible, it's the mounting that may be different. All you need to do is ask a Ford Spare Parts person.
