I'm thinking of buying the fridge. Does anyone have any experiences / observations. On 1st glance it looks pretty small

I got one thrown in by the dealer. For day trips it is great, we put in drinks, fruit and nibbles for us & the kids. It is small, but for the position it sits in the size is perfect.
I can't do without it now.

ford website says its 15l. The picture shows a couple of small bottles of mineral water & some fruit inside the unit.

Those bottles sit on a removable rack.

I've got one and its a nice little unit. But as others have said, useful for day trips only. If you're paying full price then I'd be inclined to spend a bit more and get something a bit bigger.

i seem to remember in another thread someone said to get the fridge from the manfacturer for around $140 . [but dont quote me on that]

One thing to be aware of is it's not a "full" fridge, it will only cool about 20°C below ambient which can be quite hot in a car, especially one that is parked.
