Finally went for a ride

Ok so I didn't drive it, but I finally got to go for a (short) ride in a Territory. My impressions:

- Very, very smooth ride (Ghia RWD). Could hardly feel any bumps at all and there was effectively no road noise as well. It was a fellow Ford nut who works at Ford who owns it...so I now have a new 'contact'.
- Acceleration did not seem too bad, although I wasn't driving so it was slightly hard to gauge that factor.
- Interior looked stunning, I really like Eucalyptus and the leather was quite nice. However I found the rear seats a bit hard and not as comfy as I would have liked.
- Loved the layout of everything.
- Used the split tailgate and was mightily impressed, not simply with the ease of access, but also because of the fact that you press a button to open it. I thought that was pretty nifty and was a detail I had not previously heard of.

All in all it was extremely enjoyable and I got to learn some development details of the vehicle (because of the Ford employee). To those who own one of them, congratulations.
