Re: How many Territory OWNERS do we have here?

TS RWD Lightning Strike
9000km's

16ltr /100km Around Town.
14.2ltr / 100km towing 6x4 trailer on trips.
13.2ltr / 100km Country trips.

Great car, no major problems to date (except the scratch I put in it)

Will get the AUX noise fixed next service.

Re: How many Territory OWNERS do we have here?

TS RWD, Indiana

Optioned with 3rd row

Built 03/05

1200km

Wantirna, Vic

Have an 'Aux' noise problem related to instrument panel dimmer setting - lights off or no dimming = no buzz, lights on with any level of dimming = high freq buzz.

Also have concerns with noise from transmission, sounds like a 'rubbing' noise or like a fan blowing air. Seems to be related to vehicle speed/gear selection, not engine revs. if doing a 'kick down' the noise gets quite intrusive.

Initially pointed it out to service dept thinking it was a belt rubbing but they said it was 'normal'.

Also pointed out an loud 'click' (intermittent), like a solenoid snapping in, when shifting transmission lever. Service dept said it might need a damper.

Would like to hear if anybody else has these probs. Spoke to another Terri owner today who mentioned engine and transmission recall/changeovers. Got me worried now!

This site is a great find!

Re: How many Territory OWNERS do we have here?

Territory Ghia AWD March 05 build. 1900km's which was the delivery. :) I collected it from Adelaide SA and drove it back home to Armidale NSW. No unusual sounds or other problems with car at all. Hopefully I got a good one.

Re: How many Territory OWNERS do we have here?

May 2006 AWD SR in Kashmir with 3rd row seat and fog lamps. Rockhampton Queensland.

Took it off road when it was only 2 weeks old, so I don't have to worry about scratching it any more... ! (pic)

Re: How many Territory OWNERS do we have here?

Country Vic White TX 55000 K. Only problem is silver laminate on shifter bubbled when car left out on frosty night (not severe) Otherwise VG.
Fuel 10.7 l/100km highway. A bit scary around city, paddocks or towing.
