Interior dash lights - Ford Forums

Hi guys,
Im a new terri owner. Just want to ask, does anyone know or confirm
that the interior dash light colours are different on some terri models.
My TX dash lighs are orange. I swore i saw a TS or Ghia with blue interior dash lights. can anyone one confirm. Also if its true, do you know if and how hard it would be to change the globes????

hi territx,

yes, the back lights are different on a TX versus the TS/Ghia.

the TX has orange as you know and the TS and Ghia a more traditional white.

not completely sure, but I'd guess that it wouldn't be that hard to change the backlights of the instruments to white ....

sounds like something a Ford service department could advise on.

:)

The TS and Ghia in the range are white backlit, but they arent globes as such, but led's. Would be a bit of work with a soldering iron to change them.
