Re: left foot rest?

We had a bit of a discusion on this a while ago, we came to the conclusion; that in a frontal accident, a foot rest could cause severe foot injury.

There was a documentry on SBS that showed what caused human body damage in an accident, the bones in the foot/ankle where highly likely to be damaged from the body force pushing onto feet.

Anyway it is either that or Ford did not want to spend $2.00.

But I've become comfortable driving without one in the Terri, it has that slightly lifted vinl.

Re: left foot rest?

No prominent footrest, just a moulded rest. Laminated footwell & shearing pedals are designed to give good protection & keeping feet at normal angles as per above.
